I have a Nevo C2 remote, trying to connect to RemoteMaster.v2.03build14 running on Windows 10 64bit. I have patched device-id and vendor id in the registry to disable power-management for this usb device.

After connecting the device to usb port of PC, The RMIR application fails to "download from remote" from the "Remote Menu" with the error "Error downloading from remote".

I have collected the "RAW download" dump from the remote menu of RMIR and uploaded it in the diagnosis area.

Any ideas about this issue and how to fix it?

If the registry is wrong, we usually get "write returned 0" or something like that. So that's probably ok. But there may be multiple keys that need to be changed, so make sure you get all of them with that vendor ID while the remote is connected. Then unplug and re-plug after you change it.

"Error downloading" may be caused by low batteries. Try fresh batteries first.

Can you post your rmaster.err file instead? Are you seeing the USB connected graphic on the remote display when you plug it in?

Thanks for the quick reply. I noticed that the after this error, the remote was no longer working and in fact it deleted couple of the remotes data. I had four remotes configured on this and only one was displayed, even that was not working.

I had to do a manual reset on the Nevo c2 remote and also delete the left over entries in the remote to get back to factory settings.

I also deleted the RMIR app and started all over again. So, I do not have the master.err of that issue.
After fresh install with factory reset of remote Nevo C2, RMIR app is now able to download the remote.

Thanks for for the help.
