Curious, I was using IR Scope trying to learn IR signals for the Yamaha YMC-700 and I've come across a curios protocol, "NEC1-y1". So, I'm not sure which protocol to use. There are three dev/sub listed 127.1, 122, and 126 and the two protocols are NEC1-y1 and NEC1.

I've uploaded the ICT file here: http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=10071

You can use the NEC 4DEV Yamaha Combo executor, and see the notes in RM.

Of course, reading the info in DecodeIR.html might also help......

Awesome, thanks! I keep meaning to read that doc, I need to just set aside some time to actually read it.

Well, I didn't mean to read it like a book. But when DecodeIR provides a decode that isn't clear, like NEC1 with a y1 suffix, open up decodeIR.html, click on the NEC link at the top of the document, and read what it has to say. That's the intent of DecodeIR.html: it provides additional information about decodes.
