JP1 Remotes

I created an upgrade for my TV and uploaded to the remote. The codes work, however there is a long pause between each button press and when I press a button the device light flashes 4 times. While its flashing it doesn't send any further commands. This is happening on all devices, even the ones I've done nothing with. Can anyone suggest what I've done wrong or have I knackered my remote?

Sounds like the batteries are weak and you are going into reset mode.
