I recently purchased a Panasonic RP91 DVD player.
I have a 15-1994 and I attempted to upgrade the code. I checked the yahoo group for a file and low and behold there was one there.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/jp1/files/3.%20Device%20Codes/DVD/Panasoinc%20RP91%20DVD%20Player%20for%20URC-9910
However it is for the URC 9910. I tried it and it doesn't work correctly. Ex. pressing play doesn't start the disc it starts another function. I checked the buttons section on Keymap and didn't see anything odd.
How do I convert this code from the URC 9910 to be used on the 15-1994?
This is my 1st post. Great forum it has helped quite a bit. I have had the 15-1994 since 2000. Great remote I am just getting into the JP1 aspects.
Thanks

Welcome to JP1!
For starters, plaes read the Posting links to Yahoo files message. I have corrected your link above.
To use that file in your 1994, you need to LOAD it into KM, change the remote to 15-1994, check the button assignments on the Buttons sheet, and then copy & paste the Device Upgrade Code into IR. _________________ Mark |

I just took a look at that file. It appears that the creator didn't rename the functions to the actual names, but instead referenced them in the Notes column. I just re-did the file (based on the 1994 remote), changing the function names and button assignments so that they now make sense. Try downloading it again and give it another try.
