1. Device: Samsung BD-P1590
2. Type of device: Blu-ray player
3. Year: 2009?
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: RadioShack 15-2116
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? No
6. Still have original remote? Yes
7. Checked the file section? There's a text file and an "rmdu" , but just want to see if there's an existing code someone may have found.
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? Yes, nothing. !!
9. Partially working setup code? None known yet
10. Learning remote question? Want to see if there is a code first before attempting.
11. Have you tried the JP1 Lookup Tool? No Blu-ray players listed, not found.
All I really need is track advance (not fast forward) and pause/play, but previous track, power and stop also nice.
Thank you.

Re: Blu-ray players-limited info? BD-P1590 code for 15-2116?
Hi MRK, the Samsung Blu Ray Players use a Samsung36 protocol. This protocol is only in the latest remotes, so there is no way to set up keymoves to existing codes. So without a JP1 cable, I believe your only option is to learn the signal from your existing remote, or you could buy
