Cablevision remote

Hi,
I like the cablevision remote it is very convenient to control settop box. It is a programmable remote. I did open it.

It has a dragon chip IC on it. It is of the model DS6688FSB in particular DS6688F30SB. They make the DS6688FSB chip in many memory capacity. This version has 30KB built in it. It is a 24-pin IC.

I am thinking, if i can attach a JP1 interface on it and program it.

My only grip is that the remote doesnt switch ON my receiver. So i would want to program some macros on the power button.

There are no holes for JP1 interface. I see that it has 4 dots where one can solder, these are the labels for it.
