Does CBL 0476, 1376 or 1187 partially work? If so, then THIS upgrade should be close enough to get us started. Let us know what's missing.

I wont have service until next Wednesday, so I can't try anything yet.

I was just hoping to have everything set up by then.

I'll give it a try as soon as everything is hooked up and let you know where I stand at that point.

Ok. Very close, great start.

I used the file mdavej noted up above.

I went through all of the buttons and assigned functions as I thought they made best sense.

Then I copied the output into IR and uploaded to the remote.

So far, I think the only thing there isn't a function for in the .rdmu file are the various PIP options.

How can we get PIP functions added now?

Might find a couple of other minor issues, but I'm really close already.

Thanks!

Here are the PIP OBCs:

Code:

PIP On/Off  34
PIP Swap  35
PIP Move  36
PIP CH+  37
PIP CH-  38

Verify these are correct, then please post your finished upgrade in the file section.

Actually, it looks like PIP might not work on Fios. I did program it in, but it doesn't even work with the regular remote and quick google search makes it seem like it's disabled. I'll double check.

You just want my updated .rmdu file?

Where should I post it? Is there some way I'm supposed to name it or ID it or something?

Thanks again to all!

Was pretty easy to get it working using that other file as a starting point.

Go HERE then click the Upload button at the top and upload just your RMDU file. Name it something like "Motorola QIP7232 (Verizon FIOS)" and add any notes to the description you think might be useful, like naming the upgrade you started from and that the PIP commands are included but don't work on this model.

Thanks

Ok. Did that and uploaded.

I might reassign a few keys once I use it more, but it'd be pretty easy for anyone else to do the same at this point.

Let me know if it's ok and if I put it in the right spot.
