Looking for the ir remote control code for the Ilink 8000. I found one for the Ilink 9000 but it doesn't work on my 8000 model. Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply, I just tried it and it doesn't work. It looks like the file that I had already tried that says it is for the ilink 9000 Plus this file was (RV) I think I need an (PL) file

You obviously didn't bother to check the Readme file, particularly the part that starts: "If you have problems please do NOT just report back it 'doesn't work', that is totally useless for someone trying to understand what is going on...."

What are you talking about ? The link I posted contains both the RV and the PL BIN files.
Care to start again ?

Ok, I just deleted all the files on my computer and started over and read the readme notes. I have a hava gold instead of a slingbox but am pretty sure the files are the same for both boxes. I installed the files in my hava player and am unable to power the box off or change channels, etc..
I tried the camera trick and placement of the ir blasters and both are operational.
Maybe I need a code specific for the hava
Sorry for the confusion, I just thought the hava gold and slingbox used the same files.

I don't know anything about the Hava Gold, but I know the Vulkano uses the Axum chip. Is that likely to work ?

Good news I tried the Conaxsat (CNX) Nano 2 file for slingbox and it changes channels and powers my ilink 8000 on and off.

Yes they use identical codes. In fact I suspect I built the iLink8000 remote by just renaming the Nano2 one. So I have no explanation as to why one works and no the other.
