Channel Master D2A HDTV to analog (will pay for help)

Post by spencex »

I've read Al Richey's article on how to create custom controls for a SlingBox, but I'm afraid it's all a bit above my pay grade.

As mentioned in the subject line, I have a Channel Master D2A HDTV to analog converter box and a SlingBox Solo.

I'd gladly pay for help. And I live in the Los Angeles area.

Thanks,
Spence

It says "D2A" on the faceplace, but yes, I believe it to be the CM-7000.

Thanks for your efforts.

However, I won't be able to test for a while. My landline is down--and thus DSL as well--so it may be a couple of days or more before I'm up and running again. Waiting for AT&T to troubleshoot.

Right now, I'm sitting at a Starbucks using their free Wi-FI.

You can always test it from there. You don't have to at the same location as the Slingbox to set the video sources.

The .bin you provided seems to work perfectly--at least as far as powering on and off and changing channels--and what more could anyone want!

Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll shift it to the 'proven' area.
