Uploading files changed ?

I wonder if the way we upload files has changed here. I used to be able to just paste the full path, and now I have to go through the Browse nuisance, pasting doesn't work. Also quotes are now inserted on the full path name.

If the method here hasn't changed, then I suppose something in my browser did, but not sure where to look.
