VDiGi VD-R for Slingbox Solo

Yeah, I double checked and found some IR codes and format.
However, I'm a newbie at this so I require some guidance.
I compiled this RDMU and it doesn't seem to work with my VD-R - any help?

Your mediafire link didn't work, it just brought up spam pages. Please load the file here into the Diagnosis Area folder if you'd like us to look at it.
However, without knowing anything about the IR codes that you found, there's not much that we'll be able to say about the RMDU file, so maybe you should provide that info too.

The RDMU file has no Device. Nec signals always have a device.

Okay, you /might/ not understand some parts of this Excel file
I obtained this excel file from the actual vendor of the VDR.

I don't understand all of what I'm seeing with the _ _ _ _ 00FF and the _ _ _ NEC, but I do know something about the button codes you are seeing.
The excel spread sheet gives you the function codes in hex, but this is not OUR Hex. This is the OBC in hex. You need to translate the hex into decimal and then enter the value as an OBC.
You also need to get the device information for this signal. I think that _ _ _ _ 00 FF might be a clue, or it might just be a representation of the way a nec signal does the function and then the complement of the function, but somehow or other you need to find out what the device is.
Our Vigi VD-i STB upgrades use Nec1 0, so the 0 might be a good guess.

The "00 FF" reference almost certainly means that this is NEC1 device 0.

How would I translate the OBC in hex to an OBC decimal? Is there a table for conversion? :O

If its MSB HEX you can use the Windows/Calculator
Change the view to Scientific mode
Change the input value to HEX
Change to DEC to see the results
If the hex shown is already LSB,
Change the view to Scientific
Change the input value to Hex
Input the hex value
Change the view to Bin,
and then reverse all the digits
and change the view to Dec.
It probably would be best to figure out the Power button and see if it works if its MSB or LSB.
Power is 0C = 00001100 = 12 Decimal
That would be 12 Decimal if the information is shown as MSB
If its LSB already, then it would be 00110000 or 48
Try 12 and 48 as possible OBC's and see which method you need to work with.

I couldn't find the VDigi VD-R but i did find a VDigi VD-I. It does use the NEC protocol and zero as a sub-device, but the OBC codea are completely different.
Worth giving it a try though, you never know.

Tried it before hand, but the OBC hex -> decimal method worked.
The slingbox's controllin the PVR perfectly fine now. Thanks everyone!
Should I upload the edited rmdu?
