Uniden UDW20055 Security Cam Remote Code desperately needed

I've tried the forums; looked for anything remotely close - no luck. Got one of those IR widgets - still couldn't get it to work...
I'm trying to copy the remote codes for a Uniden Wireless Security Camera System.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'd be willing to send over the remote to someone willing to make a BIN file for me.
I have a Slingbox Solo PL version!
Thanks in advance!

We need to see the widget timingss and the rdmu file to see what the problem is. Zip everything together and post them in the diagnsis area and then post a link to that file here.

I can't do my normal trick of installing it on my Harmony as Uniden is not a recognised manufacturer in the Logitech database. Sorry.

Please elaborate, does that mean that (a) the IR widget could not capture the signals from the OEM remote, (b) that it could capture them but it did not show any protocol/device code information or (c) it captured and decoded them just fine but the upgrade that you created didn't work?
If your answer is...
(a) the remote is probably RF and there's nothing that can be done.
(b) post the ICT file that contains *ALL* of the buttons, making sure that you've added a "note" to each button so we know what it is, and one of us will take a look.
(c) post the ICT file mentioned above along with the RM file and BIN file that you created.

How do I convert the info decoded from the IRScope to the Remote Master - EFC, OBC and Hex tabs?
All the IR codes were from the same button. Why is the frequency different? Does that matter?
Here's a link to the picture of the IRScope screen capture:

The miniscule frequency differences shown are inconsequential and well within tolerances.

The code '22' shown in the IRScope picture is the OBC of that button.
Have a read of Section 6 of my Article (or preferably all of it) on Making Custom Remotes. it should explain everything.

Thanks for the info. I was able to make my RMDU file (see link below) and make a PL version for the Slingbox. I attempted to set it up as described in the article, chose Other Brand, Custom and entered N2010 (the file I had placed in the SBAV folder) and it said the remote code is not valid. I verified that the file was indeed in the SBAV folder.
Any ideas?

Well I can't tell you how to do the slingbox side of things, since I'm still after all these years trying to imagine what a slingbox is, but I can tell you you have a problem in your rdmu. The picture that you showed us has a Device of 1 and a Subdevice of 238 but you left those blank on the rdmu, so even if you do get this to load, it won't control the Uniden because you've used the wrong device/subdevice combination.

Yes, you haven't put in device or subdevice.
Also, Slingbox won't like an 'N' code. You need to use one of the codes supported by the 'Setup Video Sources', i.e Cable (C), Satellite (S), VCR/Standalone DVR (V).
You have also allocated functions to the External & TV/VCR buttons, which is pointless, as they don't exist on the generic remote. Use the 'Layout' tab to put those 2 functions on existing buttons.
Try again

How do I know what device or subdevice to put down?
I tried changing the code to Y or V. It took the code but nothing happens when I press any of the programmed functions.
I also changed the External and TV/VCR buttons to those that are on the generic remote.
Here's the modified file - just don't know what device or subdevice to put down. When I look at the file - these areas are blank on my screen.

Look at the picture you posted. Device 1.238 = Device 1, Subdevice 238
You must fill in those numbers, or your equipment will not recognize the signal.

I entered the Device, Subdevice, and Parm (Hex) and exported to Y2010_PL but still not working. I tried it with just device, subdevice without Parm and still same problem.

What would you possibly use for Param Hex?
If I had the ICT's or the timing summary, I could look and see if there is anything odd about the signals, but you only gave me a picture.
What version of RemoteMaster are you using?
Can you post your Bin file too?

I guess you didn't bother reading my Article on how to do this ? Otherwise you wouldn't be making these mistakes.
Right, based on what we have seen I have produced a full installation package and uploaded it at
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=8664
Please try that and also read the README file properly !!
