This hint from Alan might be exactly what is going on with my Slingbox Solo.
I bought it from a UK retailer.
I am getting the "custom remote code not found" error despite having a PL file installed in the SBAV folder. This same PL file was working great with my old, US-built, Slingbox Classic).
It makes perfect sense this is my issue (a non-US Slingbox not recognizing a PL file).
I understand I need a RV file then, right?
If so, could anyone advise me on how to convert this PL file into a RV one?
BTW, I'm trying to control a Thomsom DCI-1000 Cablebox.
