8910 ext1 uses this RDF "CPT0CPx1 (URC-8910(Old)_9910(Old)_8910(New)_9910(New)_HTPro Extender 1).rdf"
I'm changing things, big time, from years ago and just ran into an issue of coding things on XSHIFT-Phantom3.
Nothing worked in a macro using that virtual key. As if the button wasn't pressed.
Whether it worked before, I don't know. I haven't used XSHIFT-Phantom3 before.
Anyway, Phantom3 is keycode $3F, SHIFT-Phantom3 is keycode $BF, XSHIFT-Phantom3 becomes $FF and I suspect it can't work at all since it would overflow. Am I right? Is it supposed to work? I really got myself confused on this one.

Oh, and please don't tell me not to tweak what works Smile I really need to mop up the previous mess.

Hi Elizabeth, it looks like you already found your problem.

Keycodes 00 and FF are not valid. In all my remotes FF is the termination of the keymove area, although I do think some of the older remotes use 00.

The RDF should be tweaked to keep xshift-Phantom3 from being a choice.

Tip: When creating an upgrade, always include ALL functions from the oem remote, even if you never plan on assigning them to a button. Complete function lists makes an upgrade more helpful to others.
