Ways to set up a universal remote...
- Theres the JP1 connection feature
- Inputting a 4 digit code
- The "Learning" technique based on key button
- The searching for the code where you're clicking channel up over and over
Isn't there a feature like the "learning" technique where you point both remotes to each other but instead of just learning 1 button at a time, it can discover the code so all the buttons automatically work ( I thought once upon a time I had a remote that could do that)
Maybe I'm just confused, if such a feature does exist can it be done with this remote. |

I'm guessing the Harmony sees a code or two, checks against it's database, then 'learns' the rest? |

Harmony just identifies what's already in the database from a few sample learns. If no match is found, you still have to learn all the commands. |
