Adding APEX DT250A to slingbox Pro HD

Post by WHEEZICON »

I am so new the the Slingbox. I have installed the unit with (2) Slinglinks to my router in the other room. The unit functions fine however during the setup I have to add my Digital Converter Box (APEX DT250A) which is not on the list of units. I have gone to the JP1 download for the remote code for my specific box and unzipped the file. In there is the readme file and another file I cannot open. After having installed the slingplayer wizzard and gone through the motions of setup, I try to copy the .BIN files to the c:\program files\slin... that is listed in the readme file. Nothing is in the (SBVM) folder. Can anyone help? I do not have cable tv.

It's no the SBVM folder, it's the \SBAV\ folder.

What is the URL of the JP1 download so I can look at the Readme file ?

You are right about the file folder name. I was going off memory. I have re-downloaded the slingplayer 2.0 several times and every time there is nothing in the folder specified \SBAV. Here is the link I found that you requested.

There isn't supposed to be anything in the \SBAV\ folder. It is there for you to put BIN files in from other sources.

And I've checked the URL and it is one of mine. So what don't you understand about the instructions ?
