Hello All,

Just wondering if anyone knew where/how to find or get, a (cheap!) battery cover for the Atlas remote.

I'm now missing one, and I'm trying to avoid purchasing a new remote for the sake of one cover.

Thanks for any help!

This may be harder than you think. I've got boxs of Atlas's and have found that matching the backs to the bodies is hard. They all look the same, but they were not all manufactured to the same spec.

I've looked through my box of Atlases, and find that all the covers have different raised lettering on the inside. If you could tell us what the markings on the inside of your broken (or is it missing) cover said, perhaps we might find one that interchangable.

I think his cover is missing. Would it help to know which version of Atlas he has?

Sorry Guys,

Looks like I overlooked the obvious of the model number!

This one is the Atlas OCAP 1056B01, battery compartment number is:10566BA1-Q-XX-001-0001-001-R.

I had presumed the battery covers would be "universal" to save on manufacturing costs. At least that's how I would've designed them!

Thanks again.

Hi VickyG,

I do have another Atlas, and that covers fits. The lettering is:
ABS P05091.

FYI, The "ABS" stands for the plastic used, and the P05091 is both the tooling number and an Engineering Level code.

Thanks again.
