WiFi Remote??

On a number of the newer 'Universal' BluRay disc's that allow an iPod Touch / iPhone to become a WiFi remote for your 'BDLive' enabled player!

So the question is.. how about a Networked/WiFi enabled remote?

I did some searches and found that there was ""SORT OF"" one on the market but the company has since gone under... "AR Research" ...but all it really did was download new remote codes and TV Guide like content via WiFi.

So while many are looking for a 'IR TO BlueTooth" remote module for the PS3.. why not go the other way.. "BlueTooth to IR" where a IR remote could be converted to a "BlueTooth" like device and a base station would receive the signal and convert it to "IR" which could be then distributed using a 'Xentech' like ""Splitter" to support many devices... Then a iPod Touch / iPhone App could coutrol your A/V system??

I forgot what it's called exactly, RedEye I think, but there already is a Wifi/IR/iPod solution.
