9. Partially working setup code? no
10. Learning remote question? n/a

I have a windows media center certified ir receiver that I would like to get working with my urc 8910. I have the original remote that came with it and on the back of it it says rc6 ir. I'm pretty sure the code I'm looking for is 1972 as I have a uei remote from the cable company that works under this code, its a model 1056b. When I input the code into my 8910 it comes up as not being found. What would really help me out is if some one could provide this upgrade to me as a wav file as I do not have a jp1 cable. The remote has been upgraded by wav file in the past but the devices it was upgraded for are long gone so I'm not worried about loosing the programing from the past upgrades.

Thanks,

Here's a WAV file for you...
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... le_id=7938

If you need instructions on how to load a WAV file, read this...
https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9278

Once you have loaded the WAV into the remote, you will then need to program VCR/1972 to the device button of your choice. In addition to all the normal buttons, I have made the following button assignments...

PIP = Windows
MOVE = Recorded TV
SWAP = Live TV

You will need to program the remaining missing buttons using advanced codes, if you need them:

096 Red
248 Green
000 Yellow
072 Blue
014 Write
170 Mouse
178 Caps Lock
088 DVD Angle
048 DVD Audio
040 DVD Subtitle
