Weird Java issue

I tried to use RM today, and it wouldn't start. I tried reinstalling, and it still wouldn't start. I noticed that the logo seemed different. Then, in Explorer, I noticed that all of the .jar files were identified as 'Nokia Application Installer'!! I had to change it back to Java, and everything worked.

Just a weird issue in case RM or other Java programs don't work. Make certain that .JAR is associated with Java, and not something else.

That is weird. Did you install something for a Nokia device recently?

Yes. I had updated the software. It's for my phone, although I mainly only use it for the occasional backup.
