Is there a default code for the Sony BDZ-L55? I couldn't find the code and using the OTHER field didn't work. Help......

According to a Google search, a Sony BDZ-L55 is a Blu-Ray player, so any of the Sony Blu-Ray codes in the file section should work.

Try code 21516 or DVD 1516.

I'm thinking I'll need to upgrade to the SLINGBOX PRO HD to benefit from the firmware upgrades. Does the SLINGBOX PRO support blu-ray devices?

Thx for the code...tried it and it didn't work. I tried it for others/dvd/dvr/miscellaneous devices.

Thx for the quick reply. Which are the identified sony blu-ray players? I tried every option via a sony device (even tried the VCR options). Nothing seemed to work. I tested my IR Blaster (my SLINGBOX PRO has 4 IR Blaster wands) and my VCR is still working with one of the 4 wands. Do you know of a specifc blu-ray dvr code to test?

As you're posting your questions in the JP1 forum, I assume you're willing to load an upgrade, if necessary, for your player. Is that correct?

Sony often has up to 3 different "modes" for their DVD players, do you know if this is the case with yours and if so, do you know which mode it's in?

You could try the following file for the BDZ-T70 , which appears to be in mode3 (and there's even a Slingbox file included):

Here's another that appears to me in mode1:

If any buttons are missing from an upgrade, you can use these codes to fill in the blanks:

Rob...thx for the referenced links. I was able to do a search and found a code for my Sony (C2000_PL.bin). This did the trick and I'm now able to control my device. I appreciated the expert advice and will send support info in the forum.

Cheers...Jeff

This is the link to C2000.

I tried it but the remote control doesn't support Play buttons (and also Red/Green/etc. buttons). Am I missing something?
