Upgradable non JP1 remote

the UR5U-xxxx series remotes have a 4 pin connector in them. They are programmable. The software Upgrade Link2 from Universal Remote Control Inc is available for download, but there is no info on the pinout of the cable.

I know this is not a JP1 question, but seeing as these units are re-programmable, and that this is a forum for reprogramming remotes, I thought I'd ask if anyone knows the pinout and interface, or can point me to source for such information on the net.
It appears that the UR5L-8200L Learning one, also has the 4 holes, but no connector. I'm betting that with a connector you can program it as well.
