JP1 Remotes

I have 2 units of URC8017 that I don't used anymore. I am ready to sell them for $15 each + shipping. These are modified with 2k EEPROMs and they are red backlight ones. They are in very good condition.

I am ready to drop down a few dollars if anyone is interested.

Jason, perhaps you should tell people what a 8017 is. I know that until you told me, I hadn't heard of this remote.

Thanks for the advice. And for the benefit of everybody: The 8017 is the Canadian version of the 8011. I think the only difference is that the backlight is red not green as in the 8011.

I'm possibly interested. I have a Panasonic Showstopper (ReplayTV). My latest JP1 remote is dying (Radio Shack). Any idea if this will work with it? No reason to replace the ReplayTV while it still works.

If you have a JP1 cable, you can make any JP1 remote control any device, so yes, it would work with it.

Thanks, Rob, for jumping in and letting Rondar know that with JP1 it is possible. Since mine are modified, there should be no problem (if you have a cable). So, Rondar, if you are still interested, please let me know.
