Frustrated Getting Nfusion(sat) to work with sling box..help

i have both a mac(running 1.0.8) and a pc(running 2.0) Sling media software. im trying to get the remote to work on my Nfusion Nova satellite FTA box. here i go, ok so ive read the forums, specially this thread which i found very helpful. http://www.slingcommunity.com/article/3 ... lingPlayer. i have the bin... i know i have a IR-Blaster 2 Chip, as far as ive read so far i need the PL bin File which i have (s2000_pl). ive downloaded and installed the REMOTE MASTER program...took a look at the bin file and yes the setup code is fine and i exported it myself to UEI PL CHIP. yet everytime i get to the part where i put in the s2000 code in the configure video sources setup it says "Remote Code not Valid. Please try different code" once i press power to try it out. please help guys....im frustrated here. thanx in advance.

If you're not 100% positive that you have a PL box, try creating an RV bin file also to see if that loads.

Same answer as I gave on the Sling forum, have you tried 'S2000' instead of 's2000' ?

ok getting somewhere... it accepts it now... S2000_PL. but once i press power to test it my Nfusion nova doesent respond to the slingbox command...not even if i accept the code and go into the remote. power...guide...info...channel... nothing. I looked at the IR cable and its connected and directly in front of the Nfusion unit... what could it be now?thank you for the fast responses by the way.

Start with the simple things first:
1. Slingbox IR device plugged in all the way?
2. IR "eyes" lined up with nFusion's remote sensor?
3. nFusion plugged in?
4. Manually turn the nFusion on and try other remote functions (maybe your mod broke the "POWER" config
5. try the original 2000_PL file to see if it works for you
just a few of the easier troubleshooting ideas
