Extract european RC codes from Slingbox software ?

The Slingbox software doesn't allow to select european devices if it detects an US Slingbox. Does anyone know if there is a way to extract the RC codes from the software and upload them like a JP1 file to the Slingbox?

Background:
I have a Slingbox AV (US model) and i would like to use it in Germany with a Smart MX satellite receiver. This receiver is supported by the Slingbox software on UK Slingboxes but not US models.

Any help is appreciated!

It's not that the software is preventing you from selecting those codes on purpose, it's just because the chips installed in the Slingboxes are designed for particular markets. But, you can indeed use the JP1 tools to add new codes to your box which will let you use a US box in Europe and vice versa.
