Any Linux users out there willing to build 32- and 64-bit versions of DecodeIR? I'd like to start bundling DecodeIR with RM, and I'm just about ready to release the next version.

RMIR uses DecodeIR to process learned signals. Without DecodeIR the Learned Signal tab is hidden.

The source is available here.

What I already did to port to 32-bit Linux is discussed here.

I already did this a few months ago, but never got finished to publish it (documenting, polishing, and testing...). I have also written an improved Java interface to DecodeIR.

See what I can do during the upcoming weekend... What exactly do request/expect/want?

Is there something like test suite for DecodeIr around?

I'm not aware of any test suite, but the author may have something.

All I'm looking for is a direct port, with binaries available for Windows, Linux-i386 and Linux-amd64. I don't really want any interface changes, as I don't want to have to rewrite that part of RMIR.

To save time, I just uploaded the compiled so, here (the tools/programs section; So, now all the version you request should be available.

I have written a wrapper around the wrapper around the shared library, (of course using different names). I will upload that some time in the future.
