I wish I could help, but I don't know how to decode the short form of pronto. I also don't know how to read the HEX either. You'll need an expert.

Code:
   0   0xBE0010EF
   1   0xBE0011EE
   2   0xBE0012ED
   3   0xBE0013EC
   4   0xBE0014EB
   5   0xBE0015EA
   6   0xBE0016E9
   7   0xBE0017E8

Thanks for the education Rob. I just created an upgrade too. I got the same numbers as you got! Smile Exclamation I really appreciate being able to read the Nec shortform. Its such a common protocol, I'm glad to know how to do it.

Guys,

Thanks for the help here but I am still not having any luck in controling the Beyonwiz. I have created the BIN file using the data file Rob provided using RemoteMaster but after loading into the Slinbox I still have no remote control.

(I have tested with a TOPfields box and can control that so I know the IR extenders are working and the Sling s/w is sending commands. )

any ideas?

hmm, even the http://www.beyonwiz.com.au/download.aspdoesn't show anything other than those signals that we tried to translate.

If you are sure your process is correct. I'd suggest contacting beyonwiz to see if those codes are the same for your model.

Not sure if this helps, but I just installed the BeyondWiz onto my Harmony Universal Remote and checked the codes. The key codes are the same as those in the BIN file Robman provided, but the Sub-Device is '1' not '0'. Not sure of that makes a difference ?

Also, for thespanner, what do you mean by ' I still have no remote control' ? If the remote is not being displayed then you have a completely different problem from the one being addresses here.

Can you be more explicit on what you are actually doing and what isn't happening as you would expect ?

Hi alanrichey,

I mean that I still can't control the Beyonwiz via the SlingPlayer s/w with the proposed files so far.

I am not sure about the sub device either so maybe someone can provide a view on that?

Hi Guys,

It seems to work now. Changing the Sub device from 0 to 1 now lets me control the Beyonwiz....

OK, so you do have a remote but it doesn't work Smile

I have built a new RV BIN file using a sub-device of 1, give it a try. You can download it at:

Cheers

Good. I'll build a complete package and upload it to the Slingbox File Section (I see Robman has already updated the Device Upgrade file).
