I am using Google Chrome for a browser. When trying to reply to a post, I found it had a problem editing the reply. I have to resort to using IE to compose a reply. Chrome is popular....someone might want to take a look at what is going on.
Use Chrome and do some backspaces and cuts and pastes when composing a reply (and probably other places) and you'll see what i mean.

The problem is with Chrome, not with the site. I tried using Chrome for a month or so when it first came out but I eventually got too annoyed with the text editor stuff (ie, typing replies) that I gave up and switched back to Firefox.

Yeh, I tried it, too, based on expert recommendation Wink but reverted to Firefox after a couple of hours. I like the tabbed layout and the DownloadHelper add-in for getting videos off YouTube (royalty-free videos of horse-racing, nature-watching etc., of course). Plus it generally displays most pages correctly.

Well, i'm using firefox to reply to this. Looks like firefox got a lot better in the last few years.
I had problems with it years ago, just like i am having with chrome now...so
firefox it is. there is always the question of who is right...thanks to
microsoft violating standards and creating de facto behavior that even
firefox felt they had to deal with...i kinda
suspect that in this case since text editting is pretty braindead...
but firefox is looking much better since i last looked at it.
and...no trouble replying Smile
speed wise they both appear to be the same...possibly chrome winning
a little there...but could be subjective on my part.

FIXED!!!

The editing problem has been fixed in the beta version of Chrome available HERE. This will be in the upcoming 2.0 release as well.

If you don't want to install the beta, there are a couple of work-arounds:

- Ctrl-A to select all will refresh
- Clicking another tab in Chrome and switching back will refresh
