1. Device: Technics SV-170
2. Type of device: HI-FI
3. Year: ???
4. JP1/UEI Remote model: URC-8206
5. Do you have a JP1 cable? yes
6. Still have original remote? yes
7. Checked the file section? yes
8. Checked Pronto file section (at R/C)? yes
9. Partially working setup code? yes 1288

Looking for the 1288 file so i can modify it to work all function via learning please Wink

Is there a way to access these pre programed codes on the remote via IR program and copy them to RM for editing?

Your answer to number 10 seems to be incorrect. The URC 8206 is advertised as a learning remote, so if you have the OEM remote, and a learning remote, and a cable, you should be able to learn and download the signals for analysis and decoding in IR.

Since you didn't post your files (IR with learning, IR with protocol, and RM or KM files) its kind of hard to tell, but one of the main culprits in this type of problem is that you have old keymoves on the keys that don't work.
