Is there any way of inserting a delay between commands with a macro on a 15-2117? I need to power up my RCA receiver, wait a few seconds, and change the mode to "VCR" for playing the VCR with surround sound.
Thanks to this group, I'm using IR and it worksa great.

The simplest approach is to add some useless commands in between. For example, you could start executing buttons that have nothing assigned to them, or perhaps even changing the mode to an unused device and executing a few buttons.
If you want to get a bit more fancy you could use the zenith pause trick...setup a keymove with the record button from zenith vcr (device 039); if you then execute that record function, it will pause for quite a while (maybe 2 seconds or so).
Fancier still, find the special pause protocol from the yahoo jp1 files section...that allows you to insert a pause with a length that you can vary depending on how long a pause you need. _________________ Alan |
