I searched all over the net for a "Tevion STB 1013" but found nothing, however I did find a Tevion box at Aldi. Is this your STB?

yes, I bought it last november. I have been away. This has been my first chance to try it out.
It was bought at my local Aldi shop in Cheshire.
In the Slingbox set up it lists Tevion but not this model.
Can you please help? John

I can't help because I don't know what the IR signals look like. Somebody would need to capture the signals from your Tevion remote in order to create a Slingbox BIN file.

Here is something that I think might be related to the Tevion STB
http://www.dtvforum.info/index.php?showtopic=36596

That link links to this link
http://www.digenius.de/Tools_en#unifb

Which if this is the remote we are talking about says
One4All One4all has integrated our codes into their database with the code S1161.
We also have an older message describing how to program the One4All for the digenius receivers:
You have to call the hotline under 08 00/1 81 25 96 (in Germany) and enter the code for EuroSky: 1930283. Then you be will connected with the human operator where you have to ask for the code 0299. The code will then uploaded into your RC by holding it against the telephone loudspeaker. The codes are implemented to 85% the rest must be programmed manually

If S1161 is the right code, try this...

If that doesn't work I have checked the Harmony database and the closest I can get is a Tevion STB 7017. That might work. Unfortunately I left my JP1 cable at home so can't try it till the weekend.

OK, managed to learn the codes for the Tevion STB 70107. If you want to try the binary files send me a PM with your e-mail address.

Cheers

In fact I have now loaded these files into the JP1 section so you can grab them from there.

Tevion STB1013

Post by MrPexUK »

Sorry the Robman, no that's not the one I bought, I didn't see the picture that you sent until now. Like you I have searched the web and I can't find anything on the Tevion STB 1013. The remote in your picture looks slightly simular. I tried the S1161 code but it didn't work. I think that a code with a letter and four digits is on the right wavelength. I could send pictures of unit and remote, not sure how you can attach them on here? MrPexUK

Did you also try the file that Al created? It uses a completely different code to the S1161 file that I created, so if my file didn't work, give that one a try.

Hi, I tried to open the file he put up but it came up as a bin file? I have isobuster which should open it but it just says missing files. Sorry I am not very advanced, like yourself. Did Al's file create a code? MrPexUK

Al's file is a zip file containing BIN files for all 4 versions of Slingbox (ie, JU, PK, PL and RV) along with the original RM file and a readme file.

I assume that your Slingbox has the RV chip, so all you need to do is extract the S0723_PV.bin file from the zip and save it in your SBAV file (just like you did with the S1161_RV.bin file that I created, then load S0723 via the "other" box (again, just like you did with the S1161 code) to see if it works.

thanks for Tevion code

Post by MrPexUK »

I tried what Al suggested with the bin files and tried one of the codes. I found S0723 worked, so thanks for your help. I now have my Slingbox totally working with my Tevion STB1013. MrPexUK :)
