I am looking for codes to select a video channel.
The build that is giving me trouble is the combined Sony 12/15/20 protocol that Rob graciously pointed me to. The Sony remote basically moves from function to function by means of a function button that sequentially goes forward through the various options; tuner FM, tuner AM, tuner XM, Satellite/cable, DVD, etc.
The combo build has codes that specifically select the tuner or the DVD successfully. I cannot find one that selects the Satellite/cable. Neither the Video 1 nor the satellite/video 2 code works. Thinking that it was possibly a delay in the HTS start-up, I built a 10 second pause. I have also tried assigning the two video functions to buttons to validate that it was not a timing issue. I have looked at the files for various Sony devices and the link to Sony codes that have been posted in several locations on this site and others and found nothing other than what is already in build. Or, at least nothing that I recognized as my solution. The pronto codes for Sony HTS on Remote Central translate into the same OBC codes I am using.
Any one have different function code(s) for video selection or other ideas this rookie can try?
