The Manufacturer is ASTON, they do not give a model number but the correct appelation is: ASTON SIMBA HD.

OK, found that. I have built a test Remote at http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=7346

The only problem I had is that the '5' key is not mapped. But if the rest of it works I can work with you to find the missing button.

Let me know how you get on.

Oh my, I've googled this how many times, and everytime I googled Simba Hd all i got was pages and pages of "The Lion King". Occasionally I came up with Aston, but sites were in a foreign language and I did't uncerstand that was the Manufacturer. Laughing If the upgrade that Alan found is not the correct one, you might want to some other Aston cable box codes.

Hello Alan,

thank you very much, this great it DOES work. However, it is not the '5' key but the '4' key that is not mapped. Also, when you are in the menu there is no way to get out (no exit button) even by pressing "menu" key again.

Last, I have not been able to test the DVR functions (Record, Play, etc) as I did not have the chance to connect a USB key Hard Drive to the receiver yet.

Thanks again!

Cheers,
