That would be me Unfortunately I am a bit of a novice at this, and when none of the codes were recognised by IR.EXE as a specific Protocol and device I gave up. If an expert wants me to try anything else please let me know.
Later: For Robman. Just saw your post on the Sling Community forum. Happy to help. I have the SA 3000 installed on my Harmony Remote control and I have a JP1 URC 8910 and IR.EXE
What do you need ?

Hi Al, thanks for coming over here. Could you learn the signals from the Harmony using your URC-8910, then verify that the learns on the 8910 actually work. Then download the memory using your JP1 cable and save the IR file. (If the memory fills up, after you've downloaded, delete all the learned signals and learn the rest of the buttons and save a 2nd file).
Then, load your IR file(s) into the Diagnosis Area:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=category&cat_id=35
and post a link to them here, then I'll do the rest. _________________ Rob

Hi Rob
I can't verify the codes as I don't have access to the box, all I can do is learn them from the Harmony. And this is going to take some time as the remote fills up after about 6 codes. And to my untutored eye it looks like rubbish And there are warnings about more than 3 burst codes ?
I have uploaded the first file with codes for Power, Menu, Guide and the navigation keys at http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=6188
Can you take a quick look and see if it is feasible ? if so I will do to the rest of the codes.

Yup, those are good enough for me to construct an upgrade from, so please continue. (Could you re-learn the LEFT button please).
What learning technique are you using? Are you holding the Harmony button down until the 8910 reads SUCCESS? If you're not, try it that way. If you are, try using short presses of the Harmony remote instead.
When you hold the harmony button down, the complete signal repeats, which normally causes the 8910 to learn just one copy and flag it as repeating (which is good) but in this case you're actually storing multiple copies of the data. This could be caused by you releasing the Harmony button too soon, or maybe the Harmony itself stops sending.
A short press of the Harmony button will hopefully cause just one repeat to be stored by the 8910 which would let you store more buttons in each cycle. _________________ Rob

Did that and got a lot more in
Have uploaded the files at http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=6189
File 1 is the one you already have.
File 2 is the new left key and all the rest except Stop
File 3 has Stop and 3 other commands learned onto 1,2,3
1. Replay
2. Advance
3. Cancel
For some reason the Pause button doesn't seem to be supported (no IR code transmitted). Don't suppose you can interpolate can you ?
Let me know if you need any more codes refreshed.
Cheers

They're all good except for two, could you re-learn 4 and Replay. Thanks. _________________ Rob

The 4 learn still isn't good enough, could you try learning it several times so there's a better chance of there being at least one good sample. _________________ Rob
