Let's summarize where things stand with this. You are using the audio/1759 code that is resisdent in the Comcast M1067B3 remote.

The following button work exactly as advertised:

(Sony15, dev 48)

OBC Function
021 power
018 vol+
019 vol-
020 mute
012 select

I'm not familiar with the coding system but the first four functions work. I don't know what select is/does, and I can't find it on the physical Sony remote.

Quote:
(Sony15, dev 176)
OBC Function
120 arrow up
121 arrow down
122 arrow left
123 arrow right
119 menu (amp menu)

These arrow functions work on menu only. I don't know if they are supposed to do anything else, but I don't need them.

Quote:
Additionally, the following buttons perform the following functions:

3 = clears menu (037, dev 48)
7 = input: DVD (125, dev 48)
tv/vcr = (nothing) (123, dev 121)

Correct

Quote:
Which leaves the following 6 buttons still missing:

input: TV
input: BD
input: SAT
input: DMPORT
sound field
level mode

Is that a correct summary?

An input for DVD is missing.
I don't need sound field or level mode.
DMPORT is on the Sony remote but I don't know what it is/does.[/quote]

I will do the test upgrade as soon as I can. My wife has the flu and watching TV right now to get her mind off being sick.

SELECT is the button that is in the middle of the 4 arrow buttons. It might be labeled ENTER or OK.

Regarding the DVD input, you said earlier that the 7 button selects it.

i_am_jim wrote:
In fooling around with the number buttons, I discovered #3 turns the Amp Menu off but not on.

#7 switches to DVD input. After that it does nothing.

Regarding the buttons that you don't need, I'd still like to find the codes for them, while I have you hear willing to test them, so I can build a complete upgrade for the next person that comes along looking for a code for this device.

That button has a cross on it on the Sony remote. I posted a picture of it somewhere, but I can't find it now.

I agreed with you about that in my previous reply.

I'm happy to do that after all you've done for me.

Okay, I've done the test.

The number button #3 changes the input to TV
Volume + changes the input to DVD
Volume - changes the input to BD
Channel +/- Sound Field

No other buttons do anything.

That gives us:

dev obc
048 106 input TV
176 105 input to DVD
176 106 input to BD
176 110 Sound Field +
176 111 Sound Field -

But we're still missing:
input: SAT
input: DMPORT
level mode

Do you know what you would expect to see if you pressed those buttons on the Sony remote?

I've created an upgrade file that includes the functions that we were able to find here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload.php?action=file&file_id=6103

Here is a ready-made version formatted for the 1067:

Upgrade Code2 = 37 D0 (Tuner/2000) Sony HTCT100 Sound Bar + Sub-Woofer (RM v1.86)
00 CA 00 F0 06 F9 0C 0D C0 00 56 57 97 BE 00 00
00 00 00 48 C8 28 77 F7 A8 EF 1F 9F 5F DF 30 A4
End

The input selects are on the numeric buttons:
1 = tv
2 = bd
3 = dvd1
4 = dvd2

the sound field up and down buttons are on ch+/-
The EXIT button will clear the onscreen menu

Hey Jim, could you re-check those two buttons. I was expecting them to be INPUT+ and INPUT- so you could easily have mistaken them as direct input selects if you only pressed them once. Could you re-test and press them multiple times to see if they're really cycling through the inputs, VOL+ going forward through the inputs and then VOL- going back.

I assume you mean using the first upgrade you posted -- the one from last night?

You're right, it cycles through the inputs. If I put this on channel up/down in the DVD set it would probably satisfy my needs.

I don't know what to expect on the Exit button. It doesn't appear to do anything.

Oh yes, the volume & mute work, but I'm not sure if that's the punch through.

Exactly.

That means we're still missing the codes to select BD, SAT and DMPORT, along with the level control.

Supposedly it turns the Amp Menu off (see your msg below), though normally this code selects the CD input on devices that have a CD input.

That's right, it does turn the Amp Menu off. There's no way to know that unless you have the Amp Menu turned on.

What confused me was your reference to an "On Screen Menu." I think of an on screen menu as on the TV. This menu is on a small LED panel
