Hi all,
Long time...
I haven't found any topics in this forum mentioning a recent end of online config support for quite a few models of their Harmony line of products. Happened on the 28th of May this year.
See for example, here:

This affected me as an owner of quite a few of those models, and that is directly related to JP1 subject. I must admit that I barely used those Harmonies for control itself, but rather for getting access to a vast Logitech device configs database. That usually eliminates a guesswork for figuring out protocols, device codes etc.
You just download the required config file from Logitech database into your Harmony, then use learning JP1 remote (I have few 8910s for that), let RMIR analyse the protocol and settings and - voila! - you got the JP1 upgrade.
As I have a lot of equipment coming through my hands, and most of it comes with no remote (but in many cases, you can not operate a device without its remote), that was a good and quick way to go about this.
Now, I only have one piece of Harmony remotes left (Harmony200) that still lets me access their online database. Everything else I own in the world of Harmony (about 20 pieces) has been turned pretty much into bricks as far as a future work is concerned.
Is there anyone here who does the same (above) and also got affected, like myself ? What are you planning to do now? Get a newer Harmony?
Just venting out... :-)

Re: Logitech stopped supporting their older Harmony models
we got forums again!
I use them the same way. Often I will make the upgrade from the Harmony and then thoroughly test/brute force to find all the discretes that Harmony doesn't.
Fortunately mine are still supported (650 and 665)

I literally have no idea what to do about this as I know that someday they will drop support for those as well. I have a Sofabaton U1 but it's pretty useless. I guess I could use it for this purpose, *if* they have the codes for the gear. I'm hoping the new X2 will at least not feel like a downgrade from my Xsight Color :/ Part of me wants to preorder it but another part of me wonders if it's gonna be all hype. Also, no numpad...?
