TV/DVD Combo: Helpful Hint...

I have an old CRT/DVD combo that will not operate until it populates its analog channel list (which no longer exist). VCRs, set-top boxes, old-school video games & old-school DVD players all have the option of sending their content on old-school channel 3* via coax to the TV's antenna port.
If you have one of them attached when you do a channel search, it will satisfy that requirement and you can continue on to operate the combo's other features.
We use this unit as a "red shirt" DVD viewer during thunderstorms.
*Some use channels 2 or 4.
