Aiwa CX-LEM20EZ - need "Broadlink Base64" code

Post by foufouner »

Hello,
I am looking for the infrared codes in hexa form of the remote control of the Aiwa CX-LEM20EZ hi-fi system.
https://ibb.co/1qqVfKx

I came across this site. But I do not understand how it works.

How to find the HEX codes for this remote?

I tried to install Remote Master 3.1.5 but I get this message when I click on setup.vbs

"Program shortcuts were not created because javaw.exe was not found."

You don't have Java installed on your computer, or if you do, RMIR couldn't find it.

foufouner, I was curious why you were only just now trying to install RM, so I looked at your previous posts. It appears that you're not a JP1 user and therefore you're not trying to program a JP1 remote to work your Aiwa unit, is that correct?

Given that you didn't use the required template in your first post here, we're having to do a lot of guessing.

If your goal isn't to program a JP1 remote, there's probably not much point in you installing RM.

I don't really understand what IR equipment you are using from your old posts, but let me ask, are you ultimately just looking for Pronto hex for the Aiwa? If so, here it is:

I am simply looking to retrieve the HEX format code for the remote control of the AIWA hi-fi system and then enter its codes into my box and then enter its codes into my Broadlink r4 mini.

The word "hex" is just as specific as saying "number", what sort of hex are you looking for? If you don't know what it's called, do you have a sample?

The format is called (Broadlink) Base 64. IrScrutinizer can understand that. (It can also generate it.) Note that "NECx2" is sometimes called "Samsung32".

(Rob: sorry for the long lines)

You said AIWA in your OP, but you posted Samsung TV codes. Barf converted those to hex. If you have actual AIWA codes, post them. We already have an actual AIWA upgrade for your device which uses AIWA protocol, Device 110, which is very different from the samsung tv codes you posted and easy to convert to pronto hex as well, which Rob has done here:
http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=27016

Why did you post Samsung TV codes?
