Discrete input codes for Yamaha?

I am thinking of buying a Yamaha AVR (probably the yamaha avr rx-v6a or the Aventage rx-a2a). The most recent Yamaha file I can see is from a few years ago. The remote only has a toggle for inputs and no direct input buttons.
Does anyone know if there are discrete input codes which can be used for this AVR?
