How to use custom remotes now that the servers are down?

Hi, I just changed my TV cable provider and my slingboxes do not have the right remote codes. I tried almost all remotes availaible at slingplayer 1.5
Now I found this great repository, and probably there will be an Arris control file that will work. The problem is that using slingplayer 1.5 there is no CUSTOM option so I can use a .bin file.
Can someone help? I open to any ideas.
