Button not working NS-RC01G-09

The skip ahead button on my remote isnt working. It seems to work sometimes when i push hard on the button. I took the remote apart and the rubber part of the button underneath where it goes against the board looks good and the board was clean and dry. I reprogrammed the remote to be sure. Im assuming that it is the rubber pad that presses against the board that's bad. Is there a way to repair this or would the whole rubber padding withy all the buttons have to be replaced?
