There's nothing to understand with IRTool, you just paste in the hex code and it tells you the JP1 codes.

The code that you posted uses the Pioneer protocol with a device code of 170 and an OBC of 222 (EFC 238).

Friday, when I did not understand IRtool, it was because I didn't have decode_IR.DLL where IRtool could find it.

Place decode_ir.DLL and IRtool in the same folder, and then you will get something that is easy to verstehen.

ok it is easy! the dll was missing.

do i enter device 170 or 0170, because every code i saw was 4digit. and can i put this discrete into a key-move ?
i don't know if 170 is already built in my remote.

at last, i have some questions more. do i ask them in my main project-thread or every in new thread?

thanks
