I also have a pro-hd and have tried to upload custom bin file using the slingplayer desktop software with no success, hope someone finds a solution to this and I will update should I find a work-around |

OK I've done it and this is what you do...
I had to use the original slingplayer software Version 2.0.4, after you go to the custom option....
In the custom field type the name of the file (without the .bin extension)
Click the Power button, and the Slingbox Setup Assistant locates the file in the SBAV folder and copies it to your Slingbox. Then it sends a power signal to your video source. Your device should turn on (or turn off, if it is already on).
Once that’s done, you’re good to go then just finish the setup.

Alan . As I have said before ,this site doesnt work anymore it just flashes on and off ??? |

Hi , I have been trying this with no success ...I am using the version 2-0.4 and have copied the bin file to sbav folder , but when I enter the code its saysit cannot find the entered code? I have restarted both the software and laptop and checked the bin file is there but still no go ?? any ideas ?? |

just type "Cxxxx" depends on file,
use capital letter if necessary depends on file name,
then press the power button not the enter key
