JP1 Remotes

Hi,

I'm looking for the IR code of the remote that comes with the Slingbox 500. It is used only to programmed the Slingbox 500 and I want to use a universal remote with no name because I don't have the original one.

Any idea of the IR code.

I have remote for slingbox 500. I made rmdu file for it before. However, for you to use it, you need to buy a jp1 remote, such as nevo c2 or oarusb04g, or urc-6640 and so no.

So Rich, that uses NEC1 with device code 250, sub-device 1. I am not aware of any regular setup codes that use that, and we don't have any other device upgrades that use it, which means you're not going to be able to find some generic universal that will work it, you'll need to get a JP1 remote and add the code yourself.

If one doesn't have a jp1 remote, he can obviously convert the rmdu to bin and use a second slingbox to set up a new slingbox 500.
