MyGica Descrete Codes

Post by kasm »

I had created an upgrade here from the KR-60 remote: https://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/dload ... e_id=13534

However, I'm looking for discrete codes for the following:
MyGica KR-20 IR Remote
- Red button
- Green Button
- Yellow Button
- Blue Button
- Page Up
- Page Down
- Channel Recall

If anyone has the KR-20 and can learn the buttons and create an upgrade or post the codes that would be appreciated.

Do you know how to search for discretes yourself? Just create some dummy upgrades using any OBCs that aren't already accounted for. Then load the upgrades into your remote and test them, if you find any buttons that do anything, add them to your original upgrade, even if you don't think the new functions are that useful, as someone might want them.

To save you some time, I would recommend testing OBCs in the following ranges first, as I suspect all functions fall into these ranges:
1-31
64-95
128-159
192-223

Sorry, haven't really worked on JP1 in a number of years. Totally forgot about code searching by pressing set then the code 000-255.

I spent the evening scanning for codes and found them. I added Red, Green, Yellow, Blue, Page up, Page down, Recall Channel buttons to the upgrade file.

Thanks

That's the really slow way to do it, or the only way if you don't have JP1, it's much easier using dummy upgrades.
