Long time no see

It's been a while since I visited. My FTDI cable was working under Linux then stopped working following a software upgrade but I've got it going again. My daughter has a couple of Auraglow color-changing LED bulbs so I have posted an upgrade here. These are the 2nd generation bulbs which are still widely available although the newer, 3rd generation, bulbs are apparently Bluetooth-operated. Anyway, this gave me a chance to re-learn some JP1 skills and might help someone.

I've stuck the upgrade under “Home Automation” since I couldn't find a better slot.
