I've tried creating an upgrade with the MCE protocol and 128 as device and 3940 as subdevice but no luck so far. Any suggestions?

I assume you got the number 3940 from doing the calculation in the instruction in MCE notes. I think that note is a hold over from RC6-6-32 and might be wrong. Try just putting in "100" for device number and "15" for the OEM2.

Actually it came from the decode of IRTool when I plug in the hex code and click decode. It alternates from 4068 and 3940.

Using 100 as the device and 15 as the subdevice didn't work. Any other suggestions?

OK, I've had success.

Device 100, subdevice 15 was the correct info.

I was able to successfully create an upgrade for my RS-2116 remote that worked fine. The only difference was that the RS remote required a protocol upgrade as well.

My Atlas OCAP 1056 says it didn't require an upgrade, but I tried the same protocol code as the RS-2116 needed - and it worked.

Apparently the MCE protocol in the Atlas is not correct? Or it should have required the protocol upgrade and didn't?
