Re-code remote - getting page up/down notof line up/down

Hi,

Newbie and oldie, so looking for advice.

I'm trying to recode a URC-6440 to work with a Cambridge Azur 640H (It's a glorified PC based music server storing music on a hard drive which you can acces by either a very small LCD on the unit itself, or with a full screen interface if connected to say a TV).

Thanks to member 3FG who gave me some advice and also has submitted an upgrade for the 640H (see below) I've got the 6440 to partly control the 640H - I used RMIR to upload the code to the remote.

However, one immediate problem is that although the left/right buttons adjacent to the "OK" button work fine, the up and down ones do not. What seems to be happening is that they seem to be working as page up/down (I think). For instance in a menu list the controller will not select the options immdeiately above or below. BUT, if there are say 10 or more options (as in selecting a music track when there are 12 to chooose from), when the down button is keyed, the selection goes from track one to track 10.

I was hoping if someone could point me in the direction of how I start fixing.

Many thanks.

I based the upgrade on
http://newarchive.cambridgeaudio.com/me ... 774906.pdf
It may be worth trying the Page up and Page down commands, which I mapped to Ch+/Ch- in the upgrade.
