I have now posted build 9 of RMIR v2.05. This is the first public release since build 2 as builds 3-8 were for development purposes. Build 9 is available both as a full installation package and as an upgrade from build 2.

Build 9 includes a revised protocols.ini file that adds an Onkyo Combo entry and an executor for pid: 00FD. It also includes a new sub-folder, AddOns, of the RMIR installation folder for the addition of new protocols as they are developed. These will be in files with the extension .prot and will supplement the protocols in protocols.ini. Such an add-on protocol will take priority over one in protocols.ini if they have the same name and include an executor for the same processor. This allows users to create, in effect, a custom version of protocols.ini without having to edit that file itself. The File > Set Directory menu of RMIR has a new option that allows users to change the folder used for these add-ons, so a user may keep custom add-ons in a folder outside of the RMIR installation folder and use that for multiple builds of RMIR if desired.

Build 9 also fixes a few bugs and adds to the facilities available in the Advanced Details and Timing Summary panels of the Learned Signals tab. It also includes revised RDFs for the XSight Touch/Color and Nevo C2/C3 remotes.
