I bought a serial to usb cable. I have a rs 135. When I first got cable, March 2016. Had a difficult time finding a driver to work. Finally got 3.8.12.0 to work. Oh, I have a laptop and am running windows 10. Decided to make some changes yesterday. Spent hours trying to get it to work again. No go. Came home tonight rebooted and it worked for 2 hours. Interface quit working again. Yellow triangle usb to serial com port. Any ideas? I am including pics of connectors, maybe someone can tell me what this is , what chip, is there a better driver? Well, I thought I would insert pictures, Just not smart enough to figure it out. Chip is red. TIAO

One option would be to zip the pics together into a single file and load them into the Diagnosis Area:

I went and uninstalled driver and checked the delete the driver for this device. Did this about 5 times, checking to see if any change between each. Finally got to 3.3.2.102. Works like a charm

Who sells a Windows 10 compatible cable for my old EEPROM 6131s
The Robman..
My attempts to move my old usb EEPROM Delcom cable to W10 have failed along with my last XP laptop.
I still use the dozens of 6131s you sold me, and have no need to change,

Wayne, i had problems getting my old JP1USB cables to work in Windows 10 at first also, but when I tried again, following Vicky's instructions more closely, I got it to work.
Nobody makes those cables anymore, so the best you can do, if you really can't get it working, is to buy an FTDI cable and also get a legacy JP1 adapter from DIY Gadget.
